Morning routine

Even though we went to bed early, we woke up hours after everyone else, at a lazy 8am. It seems like the day begins here at 4 or 5am (and continues until 7 or 8pm). Surprisingly, it got cold enough last night to be shivering and need to climb into our sleeping bags.

Breakfast was some delicious tea called Hierba Luisa, picked right from Bertha´s mom´s garden (tasted kinda like yerba maté, but light yellow green in color) and fresh picked oranges from the yard! [To eat- Carve off outer layer with 3-4 inch knife leaving a good layer of the white stuff on the outside, then cut a slice off the top and eat by squeezing and sucking out the juice and pulp. just be careful for all the seeds!]
